This project, hidden in the beautiful mountains in Palmer, TN, is on land which has belonged to the family for many years. Built as a retreat and then used as a home for some time, the existing building was renovated through this design to provide more space for the family during vacations, including a large screened-in porch, more headroom on the second floor, bathrooms to accommodate a larger group of people, and a new, updated look. The original project was clad with stone from the surrounding site, and the renovation took this into account and incorporated stone to match.
